8ste Mobile Media Day Amsterdam

Vandaag 18 mei en woensdag 19 mei vindt in het Amsterdamse Renaissance hotel de 8ste Mobile Media Day plaats waar ik dankzij MobileCowboys.nl naartoe kan. Deze tweedaagse conferentie wordt jaarlijks georganiseerd door het WAN-IFRA dat meer dan 18.000 kranten/tijdschriften, 15.000 websites en 3.000 bedrijven in 120 landen vertegenwoordigd. Gedurende twee dagen worden er de laatste ontwikkelingen en best practices in mobiele marketing en advertising besproken. Ik zal proberen in de loop van de week een korte samenvatting op Belgian Cowboys te plaatsen!

Stig Nordqvist (executive director for emerging digital platforms, WAN-IFRA)  : "Our aim with this year's conference is to present, discuss and debate the latest and developing issues at hand to increase reach and revenues".

Alle belangrijke spelers (Google incl.) wedden momenteel op een sterke ontwikkeling van de uitgaven voor reclame op mobiele web-en applicatie-omgevingen. Maar hoe verkoop je nu reclame via je mobieltje? Deze vraag zal worden beantwoord door Marc Lamarche, head of mobile media, Edipresse Publications SA en Florian Gmeinwieser, MD, Plan.Net Media GmbH & Co. KG, Germany.

Philip Sugai, marketingprofessor and directeur van het Mobile Consumer Lab aan de internationale universiteit van Japan en auteur van het boek “Six Immutable Laws of Mobile Business zal samen met de Deen Thomas Hvidt (head of mobile, JP/Politikens Hus Media Group ) vertellen waar de mobiele industrie zich de komende maanden op moet focussen.
